Volunteer with VITA

Want to make a practical difference in our community? VITA volunteers work to lift the tax burden by offering low-income families free tax preparation.

In 2019, we were able to help 10% of eligible Lancaster County residents. With more volunteers, we can make an even bigger impact.

We are currently seeking Greeters at all our VITA locations from January 21, 2020 through April 15, 2020.  Hours are flexible!

For more information contact brubacher@uwlanc.org or just sign up for a 2 hour Training.

VITA Volunteer

VITA provides me with a way to use my accounting background to give back to
Lancaster County.  I get to challenge myself while helping others.  Our VITA clients are so grateful for our service and it makes me feel good about what we are doing.

VITA Volunteer

VITA was beneficial to my personal and professional development. I would highly suggest the program to college students looking for valuable experience
